The Music & Inclusion seminar brings together music students and people with mental and cognitive disabilities on a weekly basis. The aim is to make music together and thus to fill the idea of inclusive music education with concrete content and experiences. Our guests enrich the music education work with their spontaneity and warmth and provide a variety of new impulses for experiencing music together.

Although the idea of inclusion has become increasingly important in educational science in recent years, it is still the subject of controversial debate in society. At the centre is the question of how meaningfully and to what extent people with disabilities should or can be integrated into (educational) systems. Very few people have any experience in this field.
