The young adults at our Institute are characterised by their high level of qualification, their commitment and their diversity in terms of different musical styles. The constant exchange of ideas and joint lessons ensure continuous input, which leads to ever more creative and impressive developments. In addition to the ensembles and groups that have developed within university contexts, our students are active and successful in independently founded constellations.
The Institute of Music at the University of Oldenburg is particularly proud of the high calibre and diverse potential of its students, which is why we are happy to support our musicians and offer them an additional opportunity to come into contact with interested parties through musikagentur@uol.

Please note that the bands and musicians listed below are only a selection of our artists. Our placement process has evolved so that you can contact us directly and the students will then put together customised project bands that are tailored to your event. This allows us to respond flexibly to your wishes.
Solo artists
Nils Brandenburg
Jazz, Pop, Rock, Indie
Nils is a musician from Oldenburg and moves flexibly between jazz, pop, rock and indie - depending on the occasion and mood. He plays guitar (also solo with loop pedal), piano and sings. Depending on the occasion, he performs solo or together with other musicians - from award ceremonies, graduation parties, corporate events to private parties.
In recent years, Nils has performed on a wide variety of stages and has gained a lot of experience in providing musical accompaniment for events. It is important to him not only to entertain with his music, but also to create emotional moments that will be remembered.
Nils is reliable, uncomplicated to work with and brings professional technology with him (if required).
Meloolina
Rock, Pop, Schlager
Melina Röben alias Meloolina has been a freelance singer and musician for 2.5 years and has already accompanied a wide variety of events. Whether weddings, company celebrations, festive farewells or city festivals - Melina inspires with a variety of genres from pop hits to rock to pop ballads, always adapts spontaneously to the audience and above all manages to trigger great emotions.
She accompanies her singing herself on the piano or guitar. Her motto: "Everyone should go home satisfied after my performance".
Aynaz Nabahat
Classical, Pop
Aynaz accompanies weddings, corporate events, but also other events. Her repertoire is designed for this type of event - classical, modern, international - but she is also happy to fulfil your song requests for special events! She also plays as a duo or trio with violin or cello.

Leo Rott
Classical, Pop, Jazz
Leo Rott is a pianist who is versatile in his approach to the genres you require. Whether background music for receptions or accompaniment for weddings - his repertoire includes classical pieces, modern hits and jazz interpretations. You can also book Leo as part of a vocal duo or for band projects in which he plays piano or bass.

Florian Pretzer
Ambient, Jazz, Rock, Pop
Florian Pretzer makes music under the pseudonym "doppelgänger". His repertoire includes original compositions as well as cover versions of well-known pop songs, accompanied by his electric guitar, loop station and various effects.
The sound is characterised not only by ambient influences, but also by elements from the jazz-rock-pop genre.
As he has a broad stylistic range, he cannot necessarily be categorised as belonging to a particular genre.

Jan Wiegmann
Film music (piano)
In his spare time, he mainly composes film music on the piano. In doing so, he tries to tell stories and convey different moods.

The vocal-piano duo Löwenherz, consisting of the musicians Leo and Sebastian, offers a unique mix of pop and jazz for your event. With soulful vocals and virtuoso piano playing, they create an atmospheric accompaniment for company parties, receptions or private events. Their repertoire ranges from German indie pop to timeless jazz classics, perfectly matched to the mood of the event. Löwenherz provides musical highlights and unforgettable moments that will give your event a special grade.
Psychic Primate
Alternative progressive rock with indie and funk influences
We are Psychic Primate, a band from Oldenburg consisting of Nils (guitar, lead vocals), Tristan (bass and backing vocals) and Matti (drums and backing vocals)!
We play alternative progressive rock with indie and funk influences!
Soon we will release our first album, which we recorded live this year.

4-5-piece ensembles and bands
kitsch corset
Funk, Rock, Pop
kitschkorsett - behind these 13 letters are four musicians and a handsome drummer. Together, the band leads us through the existential wonder bags of life. They answer the question of what cute rodents have to do with the fruits of capitalism, why diving naked should become a trend and what a "funkomander" actually does for a living. Musically, the whole thing is embedded in appealing funk grooves with jazz and rock elements. Beyond that, however, kitschkorsett cannot be pigeonholed into any genre. The repertoire also includes profound ballads and more serious lyrics.

The 4 funny 5
Party, Rock, Pop
We are the 4 funny 5: A cover and party band for a good mood and music to dance to.
Our set consists of evergreens, all-time favourites and forgotten hits. From Perfekte Welle by Juli to Skandal im Sperrbezirk by the Spider Murphy Gang to Titanium by David Guetta and Sia, everything is included.
We party until the bass inhales the cat!

Magic Music Bus
The project by the Dr Hildegard Schnetkamp Foundation and Höffmann Reisen enables children and young people from rural areas of Oldenburg to attend concerts at the Oldenburg State Theatre, the Bremen Glocke and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. We support the project through our collaboration with the Institute of Music: students accompany the trips and give the pupils a short concert introduction.

A bridge to the future
Sound installation by Enrico Stolzenburg in collaboration with the Institute of Music to mark the 50th anniversary of Carl von Ossietzky University.
The installation aims to make the university of the present audible for the future. It was created especially for the location of the bridge and is designed as a permanent installation. It is a cooperative project in which many students and lecturers from the Institute of Music have been involved over the course of a semester (summer semester 2024). As a music agency, we took over the project coordination and accompanied the realisation of the project.
