In 1993 Jutta Kunz joined the University of Oldenburg as a professor of theoretical physics, working in field theory.
Currently her main interests are focussed on questions in gravity and relativistic astrophysics, where she is working with her group on black holes and neutron stars, but also on intriguing hypothetical objects like wormholes.
Jutta Kunz is chair of the DFG Research Training Group `Models of Gravity', whose second period started in October. The RTG attracts many excellent young people worldwide and has a particular focus on gender equality.
