About the author (in English only)

Dr Berrin CEFA is a postdoctoral research associate at CvO University of Oldenburg and acts as the coordinator for the Centre for Educational Research (COER). Dr Cefa holds a PhD from CvO University of Oldenburg, awarded summa cum laude (high distinction), and publishes in the field of open, distance and digital education.Her research focuses primarily on the digitalisation of higher education, with a particular emphasis on developing student support ecosystems to address challenges such as student dropout, discontinuity and retention. Her work specialises in research methodologies including configurative systematic reviews, case study design and qualitative research.
