About the person

Dr Joachim Stöter studied psychology at the Universities of Osnabrück, Bremen and Vienna, specialising in educational, legal, political and organisational psychology. From February 2008 to January 2011, he was a research assistant in the Didactics of Political Education department at the University of Oldenburg and the Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz University of Hanover.

Since February 2011, Mr Stöter has been a research assistant in the advanced scientific training and education management department (we.b) at the University of Oldenburg. From 2011 to 2015, he was a member of the Oldenburg team providing scientific support for the BMBF-funded programme "Advancement through Education: Open University". From 2014 to 2015, he was a member of the Q-Pakt project Forschungsbasiertes Lernen im Fokus (FLiF). From 2015-2020, Dr Stöter coordinated the Network Node North of the"Open University Network" in the "Advancement through Education: Open University" programme.

Since May 2017, he has been responsible for digitalisation and media didactics at the Center for Lifelong Learning C3L at the University of Oldenburg. Dr Stöter completed his doctorate in March 2018 on the topic of "Media use of heterogeneous target groups in the context of digitalisation and the opening of universities".

Lectureships at the Institute for Business Administration and Business Education, the Center for Lifelong Learning (C3L), in the field of personnel and organisational development at the University of Oldenburg and the Open University Hagen in the Department of Educational Technology.
