Description
Change is now part and parcel of everyday life and work – but dealing with it calmly is not something that comes naturally. In this psychology-led workshop, we’ll explore together why change, uncertainty and resistance can trigger stress: both externally – for example, through global politics, social developments or a challenging international situation – and internally, for instance through changes in the working environment, new demands or personal pressures. Participants will learn what happens in the brain when change occurs, gain a better understanding of their own reaction patterns, and discover practical strategies for dealing effectively with challenges in their daily lives.
Particular emphasis is placed on consciously recognising fears and uncertainties, communicating them appropriately, and using this to develop greater clarity, confidence and scope for action. Participants boost their motivation and self-efficacy in their day-to-day working lives, whilst at the same time investing in their mental health, personal stability and inner confidence. The strategies they learn support them not only in dealing with changes in the workplace, but also in tackling the challenges of today’s world.
Through brief reflections, discussions and practical tools, participants build up a personal toolkit for greater calm, direction and a healthy approach to change. The aim is not merely to ‘endure’ change, but to shape it more consciously, with greater stability and greater composure – at work, in everyday life and in a world that is constantly changing.
