Beschreibung
In this practical project, students apply and thereby solidify their theoretical knowledge about the management of sustainability and innovation to a practical case of an emergent sustainable innovation. In doing so, they obtain a broad overview of ongoing developments in the market. Moreover, students can practice (1) assessing the economic potential of an emerging sustainable innovation at the level of the firm, (2) evaluating its socio-environmental potential at the society level, (3) scrutinizing its technical feasibility, (4) studying any diffusion barriers and related remedies, and (5) creatively conceiving means for improving the innovation. Furthermore, students practice (6) working in a team, (7) managing a small-scale project, and (8) writing academically sound project reports.
