A
General School Placement (ASP)
A prerequisite for the ASP is the successful completion of the modules wir170 and pb023. Registration for the ASP takes place via the DIZ. The ASP may also be undertaken outside Lower Saxony. However, this is subject to the student establishing contact with the school themselves. The DIZ must then be notified of the new placement location.

Recognition of credits
Prof. Dr Karin Rebmann is responsible for the recognition of credits in the dual-subject Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a specialisation in Business Education (BWP) in the subjects of economics, including economics didactics and BWP.
For the recognition of credits in the Master of Education in Business Education, Prof. Dr Karin Rebmann is responsible for BWP and business education.
The respective subject coordinators are responsible for the areas of economics in the Master’s programme. Please contact the Coordinator for Studies and Teaching in Faculty II, Ms Britta Lehmann, to enquire who is responsible for which subjects.

Registration deadlines for modules
From the 2015/2016 winter semester onwards, the registration period for all BWP courses is approximately one week. You can find out the exact registration period in good time via Stud.IP. Please ensure that you register within the registration period, as no further participants will be accepted once the deadline has passed.
Registration for Master’s modules by Bachelor’s students
Bachelor’s students who wish to take a Master’s module from Business Education or Business Didactics should register for the Master’s module on a provisional basis during the registration period open to them (see Stud.IP), provided that places on the seminar are still available. By the start of the course,an application to take Master’s modules early must then be submitted to Ms Rebmann, accompanied by a current transcript of records and a screenshot confirming successful enrolment in the relevant module. This approved proposal must then be presented to the lecturer during the first session of the module.
Registration for final theses in the field of Business Administration
If you intend to write your final thesis under the supervision of a professorship in the field of Business Administration, special regulations apply. Please contact the staff at the relevant professorship for further information.

Work placement (prx104)
Non-university work completed before or during the degree programme can be credited as a training module prx104 Company Internship on proposal if:
1.) a completed commercial-administrative training in a state-recognised training occupation or
2.) a full-time school-based commercial-administrative vocational training or
3.) a full-time commercial-administrative work placement of at least six weeks duration and a work placement report with information on the working methods and structure of the work placement institution and the activities performed is submitted.

Recruitment date for the preparatory service
The recruitment dates for the preparatory service for the teaching profession at vocational schools in Lower Saxony are generally 1 May and 1 November each year.

Specialised internship (FP)
Some courses in preparation for the specialised internship take place every 14 days, but then in a double block (4SWS) instead of 1x2SWS per week. The preparatory courses, which take place weekly, comprise 2 SWS per week.

pb026, module structure
pb026 is a module that is spread over two semesters and cannot be completed within one semester. The module consists of a lecture and a seminar. The lecture of the module must be attended first, followed by the corresponding seminar in the following semester.
pb027/pb029, module structure
pb027/pb029 is a module that is spread over two semesters and cannot be completed within one semester, so that only one seminar must be attended in both the summer and winter semesters. You can start the module in both the summer and winter semesters. You can choose either the company or the school specialisation. A combination of company/school is not possible.

Please use the form provided for the pb027/pb029 module from the winter semester 2012/2013.
Please hand in the completed form with your examination results.

Choice of focus for the modules
The chosen specialisation (school or workplace) must be the same within each module. However, the various modules may differ in terms of their focus.

Bringing forward modules from the Master's programme
Bachelor's students who wish to bring forward a Master's module from Vocational and Business Education or Business Didactics should register for the Master's module during the registration period (see Stud.IP), subject to availability of seminar places. A proposal to bring forward Master's modules must then be submitted to Ms Rebmann by the start of the course, accompanied by a current transcript of records and a screenshot printout of the successful registration for the respective module. This approved proposal must then be submitted to the lecturer in the first course of the module.

Repeat examinations
For the courses wir170 and pb023, the following dates apply for the repeat examinations:
pb023: At the end of the summer semester in the 3rd week after the end of lectures.
wir170: 1st date at the beginning of the winter semester in the O-week. 2nd date at the end of the winter semester in the 3rd week after the end of lectures.
wir181/wir182, structure of the module
wir181/wir182 is usually completed within one semester. Students choose either the company or the school specialisation. A combination of company/school is not possible.
