Dr Berrin CEFA is a post-doctoral research associate at CvO University of Oldenburg and serves as the coordinator for the Centre for Educational Research (COER). Dr Cefa was awarded her PhD from the CvO University of Oldenburg with summa cum laude (high distinction) and publishes in the field of open, distance and digital education.Her research primarily focuses on the digitalisation of higher education, with a particular emphasis on developing student support ecosystems to address challenges such as student dropout, discontinuation and retention. Her work specialises in research methodologies including configurative systematic reviews, case study design and qualitative research.
