Profile

Dr. Berrin CEFA is a post-doctoral Research Associate at the CvO University of Oldenburg, and serving as the coordinator for the Center for Educational Research (COER). Dr. Cefa holds her PhD from CvO Unviersity of Oldenburg with summa cum laude (high distinction) and publishes in the field of open, distance, and digital education.Her research primarily focuses on the digitalization of higher education, with a particular emphasis on developing student support eco-systems to address challenges such as student dropout, discontinuum, and retention. Her work specializes in research methodologies including configurative systematic reviews, case study design, and qualitative research.
