Elisa Bruhn-Zass has completed her PhD at the Center for Open Education Research of the University of Oldenburg. In her dissertation on Virtual Internationalization, she investigates the effects of digitalization on the internationalisation of higher education.

Equipped with long-time working experience in international higher education and academic cooperation, she works as advisor for higher education at the German Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
