On Friday, 23 June 2017, another ceremony was held to bid farewell to the graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes. A total of 52 graduates from the M.Ed. degree programmes in Primary and Secondary School, Realschule, Gymnasium and Special Education were bid farewell.

After Prof. Dr Kyora, Vice-President for Studies and Teaching, gave a welcoming address, Prof. Dr Matthias Schierz, Vice-Director of the Didactic Centre, congratulated all graduates. Dietmar Krause, Principal of the Learning Centre on campus, Osterholz-Scharmbeck, gave the keynote speech. Philipp Rotzal presented the degree programme from the students' perspective.

Marcel Schrader, representing the student body, brought the event to a close.

The Trésalle Trio provided the supporting musical programme and also played again at the drinks reception in the foyer afterwards.
