The aim of the participate@UOL project was to systematise and further develop the university's existing knowledge in the field of digital teaching and learning. The main guiding principles of the project were participation and research-based learning. The aim was to support the Schools in developing forms of digital and hybrid teaching adapted to the respective subject culture as part of the project, but also to further develop existing formats.

Teachers and students were able to receive support and guidance in the planning and development of these digital and hybrid teaching and learning formats as part of the project.

In addition, we also wanted to support lecturers in general in trialling and implementing digital elements in their teaching.

The second core element of the project in the Schools was the creation and implementation of digital support programmes to make it easier for students to start their studies and to offer them support as they progress.
