Poster im Bundestag

Wissenschaftsfreiheit - die Freiheit zu forschen

(Academic Freedom - the Freedom to Conduct Research)

A total of 44 student research projects from 28 universities across Germany have been selected for the 2026 edition of Poster im Bundestag. The selected projects were chosen by an independent jury and span key thematic areas including sustainability, health, digital transformation and AI, politics and law, education, energy, society, and diversity and gender.

Topics range from questions such as liability in artificial intelligence, plastic pollution in rivers to innovative approaches for generating energy from drinking water.

The event will take place at the German Bundestag in Berlin, opening on 23 June 2026, with the poster exhibition running until 17 July 2026.

Selected students will present their research through scientific posters and engage with the members of the German Bundestag, policy-makers, and the wider public. The exhibition highlights the diversity of undergraduate research and presents innovative approaches to current societal challenges.

“Academic freedom is a cornerstone of an open society… ‘Poster im Bundestag’ makes this visible in Parliament."

Adrian Grasse, Member of the German Bundestag and patron of the exhibition

The event language is German.
