You will find the premises of our department at the "Haarentor Campus" of the University of Oldenburg.

You can find us by going to the first floor of the so-called "AVZ" (building A1 - A4). From the staircase you will then find the offices with room numbersA2 2-xxx in the yellow section (straight ahead from the stairs) and the offices with room numbersA3 2-xxx in the green section (keep left from the stairs).

1.1 ...by car

Coming from Bremen or Osnabrück, continue from the motorway junction "Oldenburg Ost" in the direction of "Emden/Leer" (A28) until the exit "Haarentor". At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto "Ammerländer Heerstraße" in the direction of "Universität, Bad Zwischenahn". Go straight on at the next two traffic lights and turn left into "Uhlhornsweg" at the third set of traffic lights.

Coming from Emden/Leer or Wilhelmshaven, continue at the "Oldenburg West" motorway junction in the direction of "Bremen" (A28) and take the first exit "Haarentor". At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto "Ammerländer Heerstraße" in the direction of "Universität, Bad Zwischenahn". Go straight over the next set of traffic lights and turn left into "Uhlhornsweg" at the next set of traffic lights.

1.2 ...by train and bus

Take the train to Oldenburg main station ("Oldenburg(Oldb) Hbf"). Leave the building at the main exit (south side) and take one of the following bus lines at the bus stop "Hauptbahnhof Süd":

• Line 306 "Universität"
• Line 310 "Wehnen/Famila-Center"
• Regional bus 350 "Westerstede"

Get off at the "Universität/Artillerieweg" stop and cross "Ammerländer Heerstraße". (You can also select this stop directly as your destination in the railway information system, or the stop "Universität/Uhlhornsweg").

1.3 ...by aeroplane

The nearest international airport is "Airport Bremen" (BRE) (distance approx. 50km). From there you can take the train to Oldenburg, or you can book the "Luftibus", a shuttle service between Oldenburg and Bremen Airport, through your travel agency or by calling (0441) 81 11 4.
