Student internships in Wilhelmshaven
The Institute of Chemistry and Biology of the Marine Environment (ICBM) at the University of Oldenburg offers student and professional internships at its Wilhelmshaven site. These take place mainly in the fields of planktology, geoecology and environmental biochemistry and are occasionally also possible in the fields of marine surfaces and marine sensor systems.
The internships are aimed at school students and prospective environmental, chemical and biological-technical assistants. The number of internship places varies each year and depends heavily on ongoing research projects and the availability of scientific staff. Experience has shown that two places are available every six months.
Anyone interested in an internship at the ICBM should have a wide-ranging interest in the fields of biology and chemistry. Personal commitment, such as involvement with the Junior Rangers, is an advantage.
