AAC collection
The collection of the Counselling Centre for Augmentative and Alternative Communication covers a wide range of object types. Students can view materials, literature and software programmes relating to the diagnosis and support of people with speech impairments.
The objects are used to improve and expand language skills in the case of such impairments. The aim of AAC is to improve the expression or understanding of spoken language and thus give people a better quality of life in everyday life.
