Collections of Eastern European music
The Institute of Music and the library and information system of the University of Oldenburg have rich collections on the subject of New Music from Eastern Europe. The estate of the musicologist and music journalist Detlef Gojowy and the archive New Music in Eastern Europe initiated by the Romanian composer Prof. Violeta Dinescu in 1996 contain extensive source corpora with editions of sheet music, correspondence, manuscripts, sound recordings and photographs as well as secondary literature.
