Rock People is a guided, diverse collective as part of the Institute of Music's ensemble practice programme. Reflecting on organisational, textual, musical and cooperative interaction leads to invaluable experience for later academic appointments. Their own practical musical work, which is rooted in the rock spirit, is seen as a tangible addition to a purely academically scrutinised social and media-critical task.
