New publication series for music education work by Oldenburg students
In June 2017, the first volume of the new online publication series "Musikpädagogische Arbeiten Oldenburger Studierender" - MAOS for short - edited by Mario Dunkel and Lars Oberhaus was published. The aim is to honour outstanding work in the field of music education and make it available for download on a separate online platform
Volume 1 The Big Band Theory: Big band work and leadership in general education schools as a field of practice for music teachers was written by Philipp Huchzermeier.
Volume 2 Promoting children's written language skills with the help of music - basics and practice-orientated perspectives was written by Maike Müller.
Volume 3 Musik (neu) diskutiert - Ein konzeptioneller Unterrichtsansatz für das diskursive Gespräch über musikalisch-ästhetische Erfahrungen im Musikunterricht der Primarstufe was written by Marc Horstmann.
Further selected works will be published at irregular intervals as part of MAOS.
