The InnoVET PLUS project NaTuL aims to strengthen sustainability skills in the transport and logistics industry in the long term - taking into account ecological, economic and social sustainability. To this end, an innovative IHK certificate course is being developed for commercial apprentices in the field of transport logistics. This project is being implemented by the Department of Vocational and Business Education (BWP) and the Chair of Sustainability and Supply Chain Management (SSCM) in co-operation with the Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L), the game developer Serious Games Solutions from Berlin and the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The highlight of the new course: with the help of an AI-supported serious game, the apprentices take over a virtual logistics company and have to expand it sustainably. The game conveys in a practical way how ecological and social aspects can be integrated into daily work processes in order to make the industry more sustainable in the long term.
