We are pleased to announce that funding has been successfully secured for the establishment of a co-operation between the University of Oldenburg (Institute of Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation) and the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences) as part of the UOL/RUG funding programme (https://uol.de/kooperation-uol-rug/foerderprogramm-kooperationsprojekte) funding programme. This funding forms the basis for closer scientific co-operation across national borders. The aim is to develop joint research projects in special needs education and to strengthen the exchange of ideas. The international collaboration will kick off with a brown-bag talk in the summer semester of 2026, during which Sarah Laßmann, Eva Kemler and Teresa Sansour will discuss current projects and research perspectives on the topic of "social participation and belonging in the inclusive school system" at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
We are looking forward to the upcoming joint activities with great anticipation.
Eva Kemler, Prof Dr Teresa Sansour and Dr Sarah Laßmann
