From 29 July to 31 March 2026, the IASSIDD European Congress took place under the title “real.time: Shaping the Future with and for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities”, and was hosted by the Chair of Intellectual Development at LMU Munich (Prof. Peter Zentel). IASSIDD
is the world’s leading scientific association for research into intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Teresa Sansour presented the findings from the LINKED project on the topic “Enabling participation – participation-oriented support practices for adults with PIMD in everyday contexts”. The international congress also offered many insights into exciting international research findings, as well as an opportunity for exchange and networking with colleagues from different parts of the world.
