We warmly invite you to an interactive symposium aiming to strengthen cross-border scientific collaboration by identifying and highlighting key barriers in bilateral research practices through the exchange of experiences and the development of joint solutions. 

The event addresses the explicit need of many researchers to better understand obstacles and learn from one another. It is organized and funded by the Cross-border Institute of Healthcare Systems and Prevention (CBI) in the framework of the Health4DE-NL Interreg project, the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg and the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). 

The event will be held in English. It will take place on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 from 9.00 am to 4:30 pm in Papenburg. A bus will be available from Groningen to Papenburg and from Oldenburg to Papenburg.
