Gregor Damschen is a Lecturer (Lehrbeauftragter) of Theoretical Philosophy and Logic at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Oldenburg and since 2023 Senior Lecturer (Akademischer Mitarbeiter) at the Philosophy Department of the University of Konstanz. Before coming to Oldenburg, he spent time at the Universities of Heidelberg, Halle, Notre Dame, Lucerne, Bonn and Cologne. He completed his PhD in philosophy at the University of Halle-Wittenberg and his Magister Artium in philosophy and classical philology at the University of Heidelberg. His research interests are epistemology, logic, philosophy of religion, philosophy of love, medical ethics, and ancient philosophy.
