The Institute for Dutch Studies in the School of Linguistics and Cultural Studies of Oldenburg University invites applications for the full-time position of a
(Salary group E 13 TV-L)
The appointment will be for three years and the position is to be filled as soon as possible. It offers - in combination with the tasks it has to deliver within the project - the possibility for further qualification (for example "Habilitation").
- working for the DFG (German Research Foundation) funded project "Literary concepts of the juridical and political elites in the Netherlands in the 20th century" (GR 1875/9-1) (https://uol.de/niederlandistik/mitarbeiter/gruettemeier/aktuelles-forschungsprojekt-literaturkonzepte-der-juristischen-und-politischen-eliten/)
- an outstanding doctoral degree in Dutch literary studies and a master's degree in Dutch (or equivalents in neighboring disciplines as Literary sociology, Literary studies, Cultural history etc.);
- outstanding knowledge of the Dutch language for the research on Dutch sources;
- excellent team-spirit and ability to cooperate.
Affinity with literary sociology and experiences in the domain of Digital Humanities are welcome.
