Network "Hey, AI - how can AI be used profitably in schools?"

The aim of this network is to exchange ideas on the opportunities, challenges and limitations of using artificial intelligence in a school context across all types of school. The focus is on practical questions of lesson preparation, correction and feedback design as well as pedagogical and didactic considerations for dealing with AI. In addition, aspects such as AI as a subject matter, questions of practical teaching, ethical dimensions and possible consequences for performance assessments will be discussed.

The network will give participants the opportunity to exchange experiences with the use of AI and gain concrete suggestions for everyday school life. The aim is to reflect on technical and didactic utilisation options as well as potential stumbling blocks. The network offers space to discuss fundamental questions, such as how AI works, what potential it offers for teaching and learning and what changes it will bring for schools and the role of the teacher. The aim is to broaden one's own horizons and develop a reflective approach to AI in the school context.

The main purpose of the network meetings is to discuss the opportunities, challenges and limitations of using artificial intelligence in schools and lessons. To this end, the thematic focuses of the network meetings are jointly agreed, with network members contributing questions, experiences, examples or materials from their own practice.

Depending on capacity utilisation, the network is open to other interested parties from school management and teaching staff who are interested in a joint exchange on the further digital development of schools and teaching.

Network "Developing self-organised and autonomous learning at school together"

The aim of this network is the mutual exchange of information on content, methods and school organisational requirements for the implementation of self-directed learning processes in the classroom. More and more schools are changing their teaching culture to enable pupils to take greater responsibility for their own learning and organise it themselves. This raises new questions for teachers and school management, such as the design of learning and project planning, the changing role of the teacher as a learning guide and the organisational framework and forms of classroom management.

The network gives participants the opportunity to share experiences, concepts and practical examples from different schools. They can reflect on and further develop their own approaches in peer counselling and gain ideas for the further development of their own teaching and school development processes from insights into other models and working methods. The content of the network work is organised together with the participants. They can contribute their experiences, examples or materials from their own practice to the respective key topics of the network meetings and thus constructively develop their own lessons and their own school. In addition, impulses from external speakers are integrated and visits to the network members' schools are organised.

The network meetings take place three to four times per school year, currently at one of the network members' schools. Depending on capacity utilisation, the network is open to other interested parties from school management and teaching staff who are interested in a joint exchange on the development of learning cultures in schools and lessons.

Network "SchüVer - Digital grade management and more"

This network serves the specific goal of making work easier through the use of a special grade management programme (SchüVer) developed by AS team member David Kuck (for more information, see: https://schuelerverwaltung.jimdofree.com/). Grades and other data such as lesson observations, class work calculations, checklists etc. can be managed quickly and easily. The programme performs the necessary calculations and once entered, the data can be displayed, exported and printed in various compact and clear ways.

The target group of this network are teachers at secondary levels I/II who want to make practical use of the functions of the SchüVer programme, exchange examples of good practice and benefit from needs-oriented further developments/adaptations of the programme. Through the network, participants receive advice and support on digital grade management with the SchüVer programme and benefit from the wealth of experience and the diverse support potential offered by the large, constantly evolving range of SchüVer functions.

The network meetings take place three to four times per school year (usually in online format). They are open to other interested parties from school management and teaching staff (beginners and advanced users). The organisation of the network meetings is based in particular on the specific questions and usage interests of the participants. In addition, further tools from the programme's extensive range of services are introduced and application tips are exchanged.

Important: A Windows operating system and at least Excel 2010 are required (no online version possible). For the online event, it is recommended that you have the grade management software SchüVer available on a second computer so that you can follow the event and work on the programme at the same time.

Primary school and all-day network

The aim of the network is to exchange information on the requirements and opportunities for the organisation and new development of all-day schools in the primary school sector. School headmasters and teachers from the extended school management are given a space to exchange ideas and discuss practical questions and problems against the background of all-day school organisation. The focus is on consultations on the conditions for success for all-day schools in the primary sector and the exchange of experiences and innovation opportunities from the various development processes at primary schools in the region.

The network meetings offer participants advice and support on design and development issues and projects in the area of all-day schools. Participants receive suggestions and support through practical examples, concepts and formats contributed by the participants. The consultations on specific challenges through to implementation strategies and resource issues are used in a targeted manner to provide impetus for development processes at their own schools and to gain confidence in their own leadership behaviour.

The network meetings take place three to four times per school year, each time at a different network member's school. The thematic focus of the network meetings is agreed together with the participants. The network is aimed at headteachers and teachers from the extended school management of primary schools in the districts of Wesermarsch and Oldenburg and is open to new participants.

All-day grammar school network

The aim of this network is the practice-oriented exchange on the expansion and organisation of all-day schools at grammar schools and cooperative comprehensive schools. Focal points include the presentation of successful practical examples, joint consultation on procedures for optimising all-day school care as well as the initiation, innovation and organisation of all-day school offers and their conceptual and content-related implementation within the framework of the educational policy requirements for all-day schools at grammar schools and cooperative comprehensive schools.

The network meetings offer participants advice and support on design and development issues as well as specific development projects in the area of all-day schools. Participants receive suggestions and support via practical examples, concepts and formats contributed by the participants. External speakers are also invited to give presentations on specific areas of interest to the network group - e.g. on legal issues, insurance issues specific to all-day schools or special design options in all-day schools (e.g. school libraries and self-learning centres, setting up cooperatively organised student companies).

The network currently consists of teachers from grammar schools and cooperative comprehensive schools from the Weser-Ems region who are active as coordinators, organisers and planners in the field of all-day schools. The network is open to new participants. The network meetings take place three to four times per school year, each time at a different participant's school. The time frame of the network meetings is usually around five to six hours (usually from around 9.00 am to 3.00 pm).

Network "Didactic management of secondary schools"

The aim of this network is to exchange views on current issues and concerns in the field of work of didactic leaders and to discuss specific challenges with colleagues, develop ideas for solutions together and exchange supporting materials.

The participants find support in their field of work as didactic leaders through networking. They use the collegial consultations for their current concerns as well as to develop strategies and concepts for dealing with specific challenges at secondary schools.

The network is aimed specifically at the head teachers of secondary schools in the region. Thematic focal points are explored in advance among the participants and, if necessary, current focal point adjustments are decided according to current topics and needs. The network is largely self-determined and the internal dialogue and decision-making processes are supported by the AS discussion moderator.
