M.Ed. examination regulations change process
Process flow for proposals for amendments from the Schools for the examination regulations in the Master of Education degree programmes: General Part incl. Annexes 1, 1a, 2, 2a, 3a, 3b, 3c-g
With the approval of the Teaching Council, the DiZ has drawn up a procedure for submitting proposals for amendments to the examination regulations for the Master of Education degree programmes (Primary School, Hauptschule and Realschule, Gymnasium, Special Education and Business Education) from the schools and central departments (Dec. III, PGR Unit, Department for Study Affairs). This has been summarised in an overview.
This process chart sets out the deadlines by which proposed amendments must be submitted in order to be considered in the following year.
Furthermore, the process plan outlines which tasks arise for the School when requests for changes are submitted, and which tasks are undertaken by the Study Coordination team at the DiZ office and within what timeframe.
IMPORTANT: Requests for amendments to the General Part, including annexes, and to Section II of the MPO must each be submitted by 15 September of each year to the DiZ Departmental Coordination for Studies and Teaching, Dr Ines Weßels, in the form of a synopsis, so that they can be assessed for feasibility in good time and, if implemented, come into force in the winter semester of the following year.
