Speaker information
We are delighted that you will be taking part as a speaker at the Oldenburg Teacher Training Day in an ‘Ideas Workshop’ (the new name for the TOLL-vertieft workshops). The aim of TOLL is to facilitate dialogue and networking amongst the various stakeholders in teacher training on current topics. The target groups are therefore people from schools, teacher training colleges, universities and other educational institutions. At TOLL, we address both teachers and learners.
You will find specific information for you as a speaker below. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions!
What does your involvement in a TOLL ideas workshop involve?
Before TOLL
- For organisational reasons, we would like to ask you to register for TOLL free of charge. As well as registering for your ideas workshop, you also have the opportunity to take part in our other TOLL events free of charge. Please register accordingly.
- You will be put in touch with the other participants and the facilitator in your ideas workshop, unless you inform us by 19 August 2026 that you do not wish us to share your email address.
- We would ask you to send us your presentation by Friday 25 September 2026 in PDF and/or PPTX format. Your presentation will be uploaded to the laptop provided in advance, so that you can concentrate fully on your presentation on the day and do not waste time setting up the technical equipment.
- After the registration deadline, you will receive a list of registered participants (number, names, institution and role).
Schedule for the Ideas Workshop at TOLL
- The entire ideas workshop will last 105 minutes.
- You will have up to 15 minutes for your contribution during the ideas workshop.
- Alongside you, there will be other people making contributions; there will be two to a maximum of three contributions per ideas workshop.
- The ideas workshops are moderated by one person.
- Your contribution will form the basis for the thematic discussion.
- The discussion in the ideas workshops mainly takes place in small groups (8 people per table).
- Participants come from schools, teacher training colleges, universities and other educational institutions. Teacher training students, trainee teachers and school pupils are also welcome to take part in the ideas workshop.
After the TOLL
- Your presentation will be made available to participants via a cloud storage service. Please let us know as soon as possible if the existing file is not to be made available, or only in a modified form (e.g. due to the use of specific photos and images).
