Venue
Oldenburg (Oldb)
The Marine Microbiota Symposium takes place in the beautiful city of Oldenburg in Lower Saxony. It is located in the northwest of Germany close to Bremen. You can find more information on www.oldenburg-tourismus.de (the language can be chosen at the bottom of the main page).
The venue of the conference is the old parliament building of Oldenburg (alter Landtag) which is located in walking distance to the city centre (1km).

Travel
By plane: the closest airport is Bremen. From Bremen you reach Oldenburg by train, taxi or airbus (has to be booked in advance) within an hour or less. Alternative airports are Hamburg and Hannover which have better international connections. However, you have to calculate another 2-3 hours travel time by train.
By train: check the service of German Bahn for connections and timetables.
