With immediate effect, applications may be submitted to the decentralised Gender Equality Office ( within the Department of Computing Science for grants towards travel expenses and funding to complete a PhD, as well as funding for the appointment of female academics, as part of gender equality measures for female research staff. It is important to note that travel expenses may be covered up to 100 per cent if the conference or meeting offers an explicit networking opportunity for female researchers (e.g. a Women’s Lunch or similar) and the event is attended. Otherwise, up to 50 per cent may be covered. If all funds have been spent, we are unfortunately unable to approve any further proposals.
