Child protection in primary education relies on the expertise of practitioners and the scientific perspectives of research. Our concept combines both and, as a contribution to the digitalisation strategies of university teaching, is based on our free "Science-meets-Practice" podcast Child Protection in Primary Education.

Children who are exposed to sexualised and/or other forms of violence are at high risk of experiencing difficulties at school. In our podcast(Season 1, Season 2), we explain interrelationships and open up interdisciplinary perspectives for sensitive pedagogical action by school actors and the development of cooperative relationships with the support system.

Our podcast provides information to support teachers, head teachers, school social workers and all other people working in primary schools to establish active, sustainable educational relationships in primary schools and cooperative support.

We also support primary schools and their co-operation partners through further training and support in their development processes.

We want to promote communities of responsibility for children's educational careers, provide advice on protection concepts that focus on everyday school life and teaching and understand child protection as a quality feature in primary school structures.
