44. Nordwestdeutsches Funktionalanalysis-Kolloquium

Das Nordwestdeutsche Funktionalanalysis-Kolloquium wurde 1985 gegründet. In den letzten Jahren wird es im jährlichen Wechsel von den Universitäten Bielefeld, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Duisburg-Essen, Münster, Oldenburg, Osnabrück, Paderborn und Wuppertal veranstaltet.
Die 44. Sitzung wird am Samstag 10. Mai 2025 an der Universität Oldenburg stattfinden (im Raum W1 0-015 am Campus Wechloy), ca. 10-17 Uhr.

Recent trends in calculus of variations and PDE

Overview : This workshop will explore recent developments in calculus of variations and PDEs, focusing on the areas: spectral theory, nonlocal operators, and functional inequalities.

Geometry, Number Theory, Algorithms and Applications in Cryptography

This is a joint, local workshop of groups at the Universities of Groningen and Oldenburg.
Organisation: Florian Hess (Oldenburg), Jan Steffen Müller (Groningen).
The workshop is funded by the Universitätsgesellschaft Oldenburg and by the University of Groningen.
Location
The workshop will be held at the Bernoulli Institute of Mathematics, University of Groningen. The talks take place at the rooms FBG 5616.0125 and FBG 5616.0128 on Thursday and BB 5161.0267 on Friday.

Dieser Vortrag beleuchtet das Wesen der Mathematik, ihre Funktion als universelle Sprache und ihren Bezug zur Wirklichkeit. Ein spannender Einblick für alle, die Mathematik aus einer neuen Perspektive erleben möchten!
