Education is rewarded - scholarships, discounts and tax benefits
Many financial benefits are granted for part-time study programmes and further education. For example, you can benefit from scholarships, discounts or tax advantages. Our guide to financing your studies provides an overview of programmes and support options. It contains information on these topics:
- Funding from your employer
- Federal and state funding programmes
- Loans and education funds
- Scholarships from foundations and associations
- Discounts for students
- Tax benefits
We will be happy to clarify how your studies can be financed during a personal consultation. Which grants are possible and sensible depends on your individual situation. However, it is worthwhile for everyone to check these possible benefits:
Shorten studies through credit transfer
A wide range of prior learning can be credited to our part-time degree programmes. This allows you to reduce costs and time because fewer modules have to be taken. The examination is non-binding and free of charge.
Payment by instalments and quantity scale
The module fees for some study programmes can be paid in six monthly instalments. In certain degree programmes, it is also possible to book several modules at once and thus benefit from considerable volume discounts.
Student discounts
As a student at the University of Oldenburg, you will receive a student ID card. This allows you to benefit from the usual discounts - including reduced admission fees and newspaper subscriptions. Discounts are also often granted at fitness centres or for technical hardware and software as well as for educational trips.
