Moderated interview on the relevance of research-based teacher training and the promotion of young academics in the education sector on the one hand and the creation of corresponding support structures on the other. Two proven experts, Prof. Dr Birgit Brouër from Kiel University, Centre for Teacher Education, and Prof. Dr Andrea Becher from the University of Paderborn, have been recruited for this. Prof Dr Becher herself completed her doctorate at the Oldenburg Centre for Early Career Teacher Education. Moderated by Dr Julia Michaelis, DiZ Managing Director, they will discuss the future relevance of research in the field of teacher training.

A poster presentation by the doctoral students of the Research Training Group "Teacher Education 2040 - Dimensions of the Professionalisation of Teachers from an Interdisciplinary Perspective - Challenges, Models, Methods" and the DiZ research clusters will complement the programme (in the foyer).
