CentraXX is a web application for the structured storage and management of biosample data. The entire life cycle of the samples - from sample collection to storage to controlled release - can be documented in the application and thus fully tracked. With the help of workflows, CentraXX can be flexibly customised to your own work processes. The following screenshots show an example workflow for sample collection and the screen for sample storage.

The software is a research version, i.e. the installation is currently not admitted for use in healthcare or for studies subject to the German Medicines Act (AMG) or the Medical Device Regulation (MDR).

The Core Facility (CF) biobank structure is responsible for biosample management. The Research Data Management (FDM) service centre of School VI is responsible for the technical operation of the software.
