Dr Ibukun Oluwoye from Curtin University is visiting the University of Oldenburg as a fellow of the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) in Delmenhorst from February to July 2026. In his research, he is investigating the occurrence and environmental toxicity of persistent free radicals and reactive oxygen species in microplastics and tyre abrasion particles.

Ryan W. Paerl from North Carolina State University is a visiting fellow of the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) from May to July 2026 and is conducting research at the ICBM in Oldenburg. His research will focus on biogeochemical processes in marine systems, in particular the vitamin B1 cycle.
