ICUR 2025

In 2025, the University of Oldenburg took part in the International Conference on Undergraduate Research (ICUR) for the first time. ICUR is a globally networked conference that offers students the opportunity to present their research projects to an international audience, both in person and online – across time zones and national borders.

For the University of Oldenburg, taking part was an important step towards fostering students’ international research skills. Students are given the opportunity to present their academic work in a global context whilst gaining valuable experience in intercultural exchange and in academic communication in English.

ICUR was founded by the Monash Warwick Alliance and is now organised by the University of Warwick. The conference is open to students from all disciplines. Oldenburg’s participation in ICUR 2025 underlines the university’s commitment to international collaboration and innovative approaches to education.
