Research Academy
The Research Academy forms an organisational structure within the DiZ for all tasks relating to research and the promotion of young talent. | |
At the centre of the cluster's research interests is advanced language acquisition, i.e. the acquisition of advanced language skills during the school years. | |
Intersectionality research is based on the assumption that historically evolved forms of discrimination, power structures, subjectivation processes and social inequalities must be critically analysed in their interdependencies. | |
The cluster aims to bring together pedagogical, didactic and inter- and transdisciplinary research that examines the role of education for social change and sustainable development. | |
The cluster "Language-aware subject teaching" attempts to dovetail all perspectives, including language and subject didactics as well as educational science, and enables a joint exchange on language education topics and the initiation of collaborative research projects. |

Committees
| Research Council | The Council for Research (RaFo) deals with questions of research strategy, systematic promotion of young researchers and setting priorities for the acquisition of third-party funding in dialogue with the Research Academy. |
| Commission for Teacher Training | The Commission for Teacher Training (KLB) comments on the fulfilment of the Centre's tasks and, in particular, advises the Directorate on all matters relating to teacher training. |
