The Commission for Teacher Training (KLB) gives its opinion on the fulfilment of the Centre's tasks in accordance with § 2 and, in particular, advises the Directorate on all matters relating to teacher training. It can make recommendations.
The KLB consists of the members of the Teaching Council and the Research Council, including the co-opted advisory members of both councils. The KLB also includes two MTV representatives who are elected by the Centre Assembly on a status group basis. The members of the Board of Directors belong to the KLB qua office without voting rights. The term of office of the members is two years, that of the student members one year. Re-election is possible. The KLB elects the Board of Directors.
As a rule, the Board of Directors invites students to a meeting of the KLB once per semester. The meetings of the KLB are publicised to the university and the proposed agenda is announced; the same applies to its recommendations. The meetings of the KLB are open to the university public, subject to any other provisions in the university charter and the university's general rules of procedure.
