+++ We thank our audience for three practically sold-out performances in the middle of summer 2025. Due to the great enthusiasm, there will indeed be a revival of the production in 2026, again at the Theater Laboratorium (with a few changes - Rocco Heins will now play the bandoneón and take over the musical direction):

With professional support, students and teachers from the University of Oldenburg and the University of the Arts Bremen bring the iconic tango opera by Astor Piazzolla (music) and Horacio Ferrer (libretto) from 1968 to the stage in a lavish production with an eleven-piece musical ensemble.
