In detail
- The Master's degree programme in Marine Environmental Sciences (Muwi for short) comprises 120 credit points (CP).
- It is made up of the compulsory area and the compulsory elective area.
- For students who have not yet studied content from some areas in their previous Bachelor's degree programme, modules are offered for the first semester that introduce the subject.
Compulsory area
- the module Methods of Marine Environmental Sciences (6 CP) in the 1st semester,
- the module Environmental Science Research Project (12 CP) in the 3rd semester and
- the Master's degree module (30 CP) in the 4th semester.
Elective and compulsory elective areas
- Twelve modules from the elective and compulsory elective areas (12 x 6 CP in total),
- of which at least one module from each compulsory elective area
- a maximum of five modules from the elective area
