Hilbert Meyer passed away in December 2025. Right up until the end of his life, he was actively involved in Oldenburg, Germany and internationally in the discourse on educational theory, in school and teaching development, and in teacher training. We miss him!

Together with you all, we would like to remember Hilbert, share stories, honour his legacy and build on his work. We invite you to a symposium featuring presentations and sessions that centre on critical, collaborative and action-oriented exchange, thereby enabling us to remember Hilbert Meyer with our minds, hearts and hands: people-oriented, thorough in his work, interested in dialogue, and open to creativity and the unconventional.
