Biography

Dr. Tong Xiao received an Honour Bachelor Degree of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University in 2015 and a PhD in Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2023. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany. Dr. Xiao had extensive experience, including previous roles as a postdoctoral researcher at UTS (2022-2023), a research intern at Facebook (Meta) Reality Labs (2020-2021), and an academic tutor at UTS (2021). His expertise spans active noise control, audio signal processing, and machine learning, contributing significantly to both academic research and industry advancements.
