Research stay at Osaka Metropolitan University

In November 2025, we (Prof Barbara Moschner, Laura Ohmes and Prof Gisela Schulze) visited our cooperation partners at Osaka Metropolitan University as part of a research stay (MoU). Particularly impressive was a jointly organised course by pupils, students and colleagues on the topic of school absenteeism. Special thanks go to all those involved and especially to Prof Kemma Tsujino for her support and supervision during the visit. We look forward to future joint research on the topics of school absenteeism, shame in the context of school and young carers.

Book on rehabilitation pedagogy published

The book "Rehabilitationspädagogik - Handlungsfelder im Wandel", edited by Wiebke Stöhr, Dr Martin Podszus and Prof. Dr Gisela C. Schulze, was recently published. In 26 contributions, around 50 authors from academia and practice have dealt with various rehabilitation education topics. For us, it is of course particularly nice to finally hold the printed work in our hands, but we do not want to conceal the fact that the entire book can also be accessed in open access under the followinglink: https://doi.org/10.35468/6186
