Lecture notes
The documents for the lecture and exercise can be found in StudIP under the module "Operating Systems 1" (2.01.012) in the summer semester 2024 under the tabs "Files" and "Vips".
Exercises
Exercises are offered in the form of tutorials and homework. The procedure for assigning students to the individual tutorials is carried out by registering students via StudIP.
The tutorials start in the 15th week.
Further information on the tutorials will be provided in the tutorials.
In general, participation in the tutorials is highly recommended by the organisers.
Lecture
The lecture takes place on Thursdays from 10:00 to 12:00 in room A07 0-030 (lecture theatre G).
The lecture starts on 04.04.2024.
Module examination
The module examination takes place in the form of a written exam. The date and room will be announced in the lecture.
The processing time for a written exam is two hours. No aids other than a pen are admitted for a written exam.
A post-exam will also be offered in the form of a written exam. The date and location will be announced in the lecture. The same conditions apply to the re-examination.
Office hours
Weekly consultation hours are offered for general questions about the lecture programme and lecture content. You can access these within StudIP under the "Office hours" tab of Oliver Theel's profile. Select a free consultation appointment and briefly state your request and the contact method (by telephone or video conference). Please note the contact information provided.
Possible appointments are usually on Mondays between 10.30 and 11.30 am.
The tutors will offer their own office hours for practice sessions. You will be informed of these by the tutors.
