Dear researchers, dear colleagues, dear all interested in the Oldenburg-Groningen cooperation,
We would like to invite you to our intercultural workshop on “Germany and the Netherlands. A comparison of working methods, communication and scientific systems”.
Working together in a cross-border team can be very rewarding, but it can also pose some challenges. In addition to the distance between the individual team members and possible language barriers, we operate in different scientific systems and in the context of different cultural values and influences.
To support you in your cooperation and help reduce these potential (cultural) barriers, we are organizing two one-day intercultural workshops in March 2024:
- 6 March 2024, 9-17hrs in Oldenburg
- 7 March 2024, 9-17hrs in Groningen
As these training sessions benefit from mutual exchange, we would like to encourage you to consider joining the workshop on the other side of the border. This will also give you the opportunity to exchange ideas and meet directly with your cooperation partners.
Since such a training has been organized for PhDs in the past, we will give preference to senior researchers and administrative staff. However, PhDs are of course welcome to apply.
Please register before the 19th of January 2024 via this link.
