Biografische Daten
Dr. Christopher Sommer ist seit 2018 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Materielle Kultur.
Seine Promotion zum Thema ‚Musealisierung der Immigration‘ führte ihn nach Neuseeland, die er 2016 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat.
Seine aktuellen Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Repräsentation von Krieg und Gewalt in militärhistorischen Ausstellungen im Rahmen des DFG-Projekts ‚Der gezähmte Krieg‘ und die Effekte der Digitalisierung auf die Hochschullehre.
