Research cluster Language-aware subject teaching/language-sensitive teaching and learning

Several successful research projects have emerged from the research cluster focussing on language-aware subject teaching/language-sensitive teaching and learning. Further research projects are in preparation. There is also a series of publications published by Springer Verlag.

Potential for (further) joint projects and corresponding proposals:

  • Integration of results in the planning of specialist conferences
  • Interdisciplinary research proposals

Existing or planned measures to promote co-operation:

  • Planning of an interdisciplinary, cross-faculty series of lectures
  • Connection to the OLE+ project; to the faculty development groups, to the participate@UOL project, focus on linguistic participation
  • Stronger interlinking of specialised and didactic perspectives with regard to this topic
  • Linking up with existing or emerging research clusters: "Advanced language acquisition", "Intersectional sensitivity" etc.

Further publications by the researchers and doctoral students involved in the research cluster can be found on their individual websites and overviews.
