Tour of the institute, Wilhelmshaven
Due to the pandemic, we will not be able to open our building to the interested public for the Day of the Sea in 2021. So the idea was born to invite you on a virtual tour of the ICBM at the Wilhelmshaven site.
Let yourself be fascinated by interesting job profiles and exciting research. From workshop employees to students and university lecturers, they will all give you an insight into their rich field of activity.
As you will see, hygiene measures such as face masks are still ubiquitous in our field. Where they are missing, we have resorted to older film material or conducted interviews with colleagues working from home. Locations such as the conference room, which is also used for teaching events, may also still seem somewhat deserted at the moment. Teaching in person was not yet possible when these recordings were made.
Nevertheless, we believe that these "highlights" offer you an interesting and informative insight into the broad spectrum of our work. And in the not-too-distant future, we hope to be able to welcome you again in person at one of our public events.
A note on viewing the video:
You will find it divided into chapters in the timeline (the "dash" that appears at the bottom of the image when you move the mouse), which you can navigate to individually with the mouse pointer. Have fun! (We look forward to re-registering students!)
